Appointment cancellations and refunds

The following rules apply to cancellations made by the patient. The notice period is calculated from the scheduled start time of the appointment.

1. Self-funded consultations outside partner programmes

• Cancellation at least 48 hours before the appointment: the appointment is cancelled and the amount paid for that session is automatically refunded through Stripe. If several sessions were booked and paid for together, only the amount corresponding to the cancelled session is refunded. The other bookings remain unchanged.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours before the appointment: the appointment is cancelled, but the full session fee remains payable and no refund is issued, unless a force majeure exception is accepted. The session cannot be rescheduled free of charge.

2. Consultations funded by FEDRIS

• Cancellation at least 48 hours before the appointment: the appointment is cancelled without a cancellation fee. No refund is necessary, as the session is funded by the programme.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours before the appointment: the appointment is cancelled and the practice requests a €35 late cancellation fee, unless a force majeure exception is accepted. You receive an information email, and bank transfer instructions are provided separately. The session is not forfeited and is not deducted from your remaining FEDRIS session allowance. It can be rescheduled.

3. Consultations funded by other partner programmes

These provisions apply to third-party-funded programmes other than FEDRIS.

• Cancellation at least 48 hours before the appointment: the appointment is cancelled without a cancellation fee or loss of the session. No refund is necessary.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours before the appointment: the appointment is cancelled and the session is deducted from your remaining programme allowance. The session is forfeited, and you are informed by email.

Disputes

Any dispute relating to the use of this site is subject to Belgian law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
